This is your self-test for Hearing Loss

Welcome to this self assessment for hearing loss. We have divided the questions into three categories about three environments that you will be familar with; Home, Social, and Work. Please answer the following questions. When you get to the score page click on "Score Evaluation" at the bottom of the page.

[Form ep_self_hl_test not found!]

If you did answer 'Yes' to some of these questions, do not be disheartened. It does not mean that you have a hearing loss.

  • A total score of greater than 0 but less than 1 means that you answered sometimes to more than one question and is an indication that your hearing ability is changing. However, it does not mean that you have a hearing loss – you might just have earwax.
  • A total score of greater than 2 will mean that you answered yes to one or more of the questions. Again it does not mean that you have a hearing loss, but you could have severe earwax.
  • You should consult your GP or contact earpeace™ for an appointment with one of our Audiologists. We recommend that you do not postpone as ultimately it will impact on your quality of life. You should have your hearing evaluated further.
