Alpine® WorkSafe

The special acoustic filters in the WorkSafe ear plugs protect against excessive ambient noise. The noise is reduced to safe levels which can be endured for eight hours without any problems. Thanks to the filter you remain sufficiently aware of your surrounding and speech intelligibility is preserved.

Unique design

WorkSafe ear plugs are made from a soft thermoplastic material. The warmth of the ear causes the earplugs to adapt to the shape of the ear canal. This makes them very comfortable to wear and means the hearing protectors can be worn for eight hours at a time without a problem. WorkSafe ear plugs are barely visible in the ear.

Noise reduction values measured by TNO* according to EN 352-2 (2202) standard and calculated according to ISO- 4869-2a standard. (*Dutch organization for Applied Scientific Research) NRR = 16 dB

Attenuation measurements were made according to American National Standards Institute Specifications ANSI S3.19-1974 at the laboratories of Michael & Associates, Inc., State College, PA, USA.

Duration of use

The lifespan of WorkSafe™ ear plugs depends on the frequency of use. Keeping the ear plugs clean prolongs the lifespan.

	How to insert WorkSafe ear plugs To insert the protectors, use the enclosed insertion tube. Slide the tube over the filter stem. Slightly pull up your ear and insert the hearing protector into the ear. Rotate the insertion tube until the protector fits snugly.
	Optimum fit Thanks to the soft, flexible thermoplastic material used, the protectors are very comfortable to wear. Everyone has a different ear profile, so it may be necessary to make some small adjustments to the protectors for the optimum fit. Is the ear plug too long? The ear plug may protrude from your ear. In that case, carefully remove the filter from the ear plug. Then cut off a small section of the stem and replace the filter in the ear plug.
	How to clean WorkSafe ear plugs? Alpine ear plugs last longer if you look after them. 1,2) Clean them regularly using lukewarm water and a little soap.
