Promoting Hearing Protection to Swimmers

epad CSMs150

A Magazine "Irish Swimmer" has just been launched in Ireland which is dedicated to the sport - apparently the first of its kind! The aim of the magazine is to "inspire and motivate all swimmers, from the recreational dipper through to elite-level athletes".

Because of our involvement in promoting hearing protection, through our blogs, talks, and news items, we were delighted to accept the opportunity of advertising the products and services available at earpeace™ in this inaugural edition of the Irish Swimmer. Those of you involved in open sea swimming and triathlons, whether elite-level athletes or casual goal setters, the catamaran custom swim molds are a must in assisting in the prevention of Swimmer's ear.

IS 150pxOrdering your Catamaran custom ear moulds is straight forward:

  • As an individual, place your order online and we will contact you to arrange an appointment.
  • Swim clubs who wish to arrange for their members to order customised Catamaran swim ear moulds should contact our office directly. We can schedule a visit to your club to take the ear canal impressions.

Everybody's hearing is important, and for the recreational dipper perhaps the Alpine standard fit filtered ear plugs are sufficient. Children can also start out with the Alpine Pluggies for Kids.

It is important to us that swimmers are aware of how important it is for them to protect their hearing, no matter what their work or lifestyle activities involve.  We are also available to provide a short awareness talks on hearing protection to club members. Follow earpeace on Twitter @earpeaceIRL for information and offers.

We wish the team at Irish Swimmer every success with the launch!
