01 February 2016

BTA Tinnitus Awareness Week 2016

Tinnitus2016 150

Tinnitus Awareness Week 2016, 8th - 14th February, is promoted by the British Tinnitus Association. Tinnitus is a ringing, humming, buzzing, or other sound in your head or ears that does not have an external source. The sound originates from within your head. About 10% of the population is affected by tinnitus - that is almost 0.5 million people in Ireland alone. The theme for the 10th Anniversary of TAW is all about prevention through protection

earpeace™ provides a full range of support services for patients with tinnitus symptoms. We are currently enrolling new patients for consultations commencing in February. If you or someone you know suffers from tinnitus, now is the time to take steps to improve ones quality of life. You might be interested in participating in our Tinnitus Management information Series.
